ORANGE, Mass. -- Kelsey Orpin scored two goals and assisted on another to lead the Mount Greylock girls soccer team to a 4-2 win over Mahar on Wednesday.

Orpin got the scoring going with a goal on an assist from Melissa Swan in the 11th minute.

After Mahar tied it, Orpin scored unassisted to give the Mounties the lead for good in the last minute of the first half.

Orpin fed Lucy Barrett for an insurance goal 11 minutes into the second half, and the Mounties (8-3) cashed that insurance when Mahar put home a goal five minutes later.

The Mounties benefitted from an own goal to account for the final margin.

Charlotte Rand made five saves for Mount Greylock, which will ride a five-game winning streak into Tuesday's rematch with Pittsfield. The Generals beat the Mounties, 5-1, back on Sept. 12.
