St. Joseph Girls Top Taconic Hills
PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Elizabeth Bartlett, Elizabeth Bernardy and Jesse Tobin each won two events Friday to lead the St. Joseph girls swim team to a 65-29 win over Taconic Hills at the Boys and Girls Club.
Bartlett won the 200-yard freestyle in 2 minutes, 21.4 seconds and the 100 breast stroke in 1:14.7. Bernardy won the 50 free style in 27.3 and the 100 free in 1:00.7. Tobin won the 200 individual medley in 2:21.2 and the 500 free in 5:33.7.
Other winners for St. Joe included Theresa Kirsimagi in the 100 butterfly (1:09.6) and Emma Whitney in the 100 backstroke (1:07.8).
In the boys meet, Taconic Hills prevailed, 48-39. Artem Dudka won two events, the 100 fly (1:046) and the 500 free (6:13.9). St. Joe's Bailey DiSanti won the 100 breast stroke (1:21.2).
