SOUTHWICK, Mass. – James Rabuse hit a pair of doubles and threw 4 and one third innings on the mound Tuesday to lead the Wahconah baseball team to a 5-4 win over Southwick.

Rabuse struck out six and allowed one earned run before giving the ball to Evan Alfonso in the fifth inning.

Alfonso did not allow an earned run in picking up the save.

One of Rabuse’ doubles drove in a pair of runs in the top of the fifth, when Wahconah scored all its runs to take a 5-1 lead.

After a walk and an error put two men on, Luke Ferguson’s bunt moved Ryan Maruaszwski and Colby Robb to third and second, respectively.

Carter Drake then hit a two-run single to left to give Wahconah a 2-1 lead.

Connor Kirchner and Dom Marcella followed with singles to load the bases.

With two out, Beau Walton drove in Drake with a single, and Rabuse followed with a double to give Wahconah a four-run lead.
