Hampshire Baseball Downs Mount Greylock

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Mikey Thompson went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles Wednesday to lead the Hampshire Regional baseball team to a 19-10 win over Mount Greylock.
 
Hampshire jumped on top early with a nine-run first inning and led 13-0 before the Mounties got on the board in the bottom of the fourth.
 
Tommy Art and Cam Miller each had a pair of hits, and Jake Newberry doubled in a 12-hit attack for Mount Greylock.
 
Hampshire took full advantage of seven Mount Greylock errors. Mounties starter Cole Wetherell gave up 13 runs but just one earned run in four innings of work.
 
Mount Greylock (3-4) hosts Wahconah on Thursday.
