Balanced Scoring Lifts Taconic Boys Past SICS

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Three different players scored 15 points apiece Friday as the Taconic boys basketball team earned a 66-57 win over Springfield International Charter.
 
Ceasar Santos, Jamal Sistrunk and Kyle McGrath tied for game-high honors.
 
Sistrunk and Elijah Harewood (13 points) each scored six in the pivotal third quarter, when the Thunder outscored the Bulldogs, 18-9, to open a 48-36 lead after leading by three at half-time.
 
London Denson scored 18 to lead SICS.
 
Taconic (8-2) takes a four-game winning streak into Tuesday’s game against Agawam at the Boys and Girls Club.
