ARBOR DAY - A FORESTER’S WALK, THROUGH THE EYES OF A FORESTER
Lanesborough, 11 am to 1 pm
For ages 8 and up. Celebrate Arbor Day by exploring the forest through a professional forester’s eyes. Join DCR Management Forester, Kevin Podkowka as he shares his personal insights into the secret life of trees. This workshop includes a short trail walk, suitable for families able to walk an easy-moderate one to three miles. Space is limited. Registration required. Dress in layers for variable weather. Bring water and a snack. Inclement weather cancels. Meet at Mt. Greylock Visitor Center, 30 Rockwell Rd. Lanesborough.
