Becket Athenaeum hosts a storytime from 10:30 to 11 followed by an hour of stay and play with toys, games, puzzles, and snacks for the kids, along with coffee, tea, snacks, and time for connection for the caregivers. Stop by for either or both.

NORMAN ROCKWELL’S STOCKBRIDGE WALKING TOUR

Stockbridge, 1:00PM-2:30PM
Take a guided walking tour of downtown Stockbridge and discover how the town and its inhabitants both inspired Norman Rockwell and appeared in some of his most iconic works of art. Explore the history of this 1734 village–including its Mohican origins.
Stops will include Norman Rockwell’s home on South Street, his first studio on Main Street, the Old Corner House (site of the original Norman Rockwell Museum), Chief John Konkapot’s property, the Red Lion Inn, the former site of Alice’s Restaurant, and more!
Limited capacity- advance reservations required. Event is rain or shine.
These tours do not take place at the Museum. Tour groups will meet on Main Street. Transportation to Main Street from the Museum is not provided.
Meet in front of The Old Corner House, 48 Main Street; public on street parking, or designated spaces at Town Hall. Tour route is mostly flat, and on sidewalks.

A HORSE OBSERVED: AN EQUESTRIAN EXHIBITION

Memorial Day Weekend at ButtonBall BARN (South Egremont, MA)
ButtonBall BARN is kicking off Memorial Day Weekend with a four-night lineup of live entertainment, music, and high-energy events in an intimate Berkshire setting. The celebration begins Wednesday (5/20) with a lively Pretty Smart Burlesque Show, followed Thursday (5/21) by “Bourbon & Boots” line dancing with Tina, featuring drink specials from Berkshire Mountain Distillers.
Friday (5/22) brings The Wheel, a Grateful Dead tribute delivering a night of classic jams and community vibes. The weekend peaks Saturday (5/23) with Jamie’s Junk Show, one of New England’s top party bands, promising a packed dance floor and festive atmosphere.
