Alice M. Dami

Alice M. Dami, 89, formerly of 544 Reservoir Road died Wednesday morning at North Adams Regional Hospital. She had been a resident of Williamstown Commons for four years. Born in Adams on Nov. 13, 1912, daughter of Antoine and Eva Tromblay Patenaude, she attended Adams schools and graduated from the former Bliss Business School. Mrs. Dami was employed by Sprague Electric Co. for more than 25 years, retiring in 1975. While in Adams, she was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame-St. Thomas. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church in North Adams, where she was a member of the French Club and the Rosary Society. Her husband, Eugenio J. Dami, whom she married Aug. 12, 1932, died Sept. 9, 2000. She leaves a son, James R. Dami of North Adams; three daughters, Barbara Petitt of Pownal, Vt., and Marilyn Cimonetti and Donna Moore, both of Clarksburg; 13 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Saturday, Sept. 15, at 9 a.m. from TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 in Notre Dame Church in Adams celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Parish of Notre Dame and St. Thomas Aquinas. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery in North Adams. There will be no calling hours. Donations in her memory can be made to the Mary Spitzer Center Activities Fund through the funeral home, 6 Summer St., Adams, MA 01220.
