Ann M. Luczynski, 82

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Ann M. Luczynski, 82, of 1108 State Road died on Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Williamstown Commons. Born in Adams on Jan. 12, 1931 a daughter of John and Elsie Getty Silvia, she graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1948. Mrs. Luczynski was employed at the former Cornish Wire in Williamstown as a marketing director until its closing. She was last employed for the Town of Williamstown at the Harper Center. She was very active at Greylock Bowl and was a coach for the Saturday morning youth league. She was involved in the Thursday night Women's League and served as secretary and treasurer. She was a longtime member of the Massachusetts Women's Bowling Association. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she cherished spending time with. She was a communicant of the former Our Lady of Incarnation Church and a devoted Boston Red Sox fan. Her husband, Alfred William Luczynski, whom she married on June 26, 1948, died on Oct. 20, 1986. She leaves her daughter, Debra Lyons and her husband, Eugene, of North Adams; a son, Michael Luczynski and his wife, Janis, of Adams; a brother, John Paul Silvia of Spokane, Wash.; six grandchildren, Christopher Luczynski, Tara Sherman, Kelly Kane, Corey Luczynski, Scott Lyons and Robert Lyons; and seven great-grandchildren, Michael Johnson, Nickolas Johnson, Kie Sherman, Emma Sherman, Alyssa Kane, Samantha Kane and Emily Lyons. FUNERAL NOTICE - Funeral services for Mrs. Luczynski will take place on Friday, July 5, at 11 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 9 to 11 at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

Deb, Your Mom will be geatly missed. I loved bowling with and for her at Mt. Greylok Bowl. We are deeply sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your famly.

Anne will be greatly missed. She loved watching the kids bowl. She loved my granddaughter Kayla. And Kayla loves her. She was a sweetheart. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
