Mary Ellen Morgan, 44
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Mary Ellen Morgan, 44, of 3 Alan Drive died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.
Born in North Adams on Nov. 5, 1968, daughter of George H. Whipple III of Williamstown and of Catherine Baker D'Orazio of Deltona, Fla., she graduated from Drury High School and completed the certified nursing assistant program at McCann Technical School.
Ms. Morgan was last employed by the Shell Station on Curran Highway.
She attended First Baptist Church, adored her grandchildren and enjoyed painting and arts and crafts.
Besides her parents, she leaves her husband, James R. Thomas; two sons, Robert Morgan Jr. and Tyler Morgan, both of Adams; a sister, Brandy Whipple of North Adams; three grandchildren, Lily, Tyler and Miah; three stepchildren, James Thomas and Meghan Thomas, both of Adams, and Trevor Thomas of Hanover, and nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE - A memorial service for Ms. Morgan will be held Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Burial will be private. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 10 a.m. in Southview Cemetery. All are welcome to attend.
