Catherine A. Duprea, 99
ADAMS, Mass. — Catherine A. Duprea, 99, of 170 East Road, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in Readsboro, Vt., on June 28, 1914, a daughter of Louis and Olivia Agostini DalDos, she attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School there.
Mrs. Duprea was employed for many years as a secretary at the former Arnold Print Works in North Adams.
Her husband, William Joseph Duprea, whom she married Sept. 4, 1965, died May 1, 1992.
She leaves a stepson, Randall Paul Duprea and his wife, Doreen, of Pittsfield; two granddaughters, Abra Rose Duprea of Pittsfield and Gloria Ann Duprea of North Adams; nephew and niece, George and Nancy Parrino, and their family, all of North Adams, and cousins Dorothy and Lou Silverman, both of North Adams.
She was predeceased by her stepson Gregory William Duprea; her sister, Irma Catherine Parrino, in 1997, and an infant brother.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services Mrs. Duprea will take place Saturday, Nov. 16, at 11 a.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 10:30 until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to Northern Berkshire Elder Services through the funeral home.
