Thomas P. Malone, 67

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Thomas Patrick Malone, 67, of 71 Hall St. died Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at Williamstown Commons. Born in North Adams on Jan. 23, 1946, a son of William Joseph Malone Sr. and Mary Josephine Callahan Malone, he graduated from the former St. Joseph's High School with the class of 1964. Mr. Malone was employed for many years at the former Scarafoni Ford and later for the former Gateway Chevrolet car dealerships. He first worked for the former Arnold Lumber Yard. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church and a member of the Sons of the American Legion. He leaves a brother, William J. Malone Jr. and his wife, MaryJane, of Williamstown; a niece, Courtney M. Young and her husband, Jared, of Georgetown, and two grandnieces, Summer and Sadie Young. His brother John Malone died in infancy. FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mr. Malone will be celebrated Friday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth's Church. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery in North Adams. Calling hours will be Friday from 10 until the time of the funeral at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for St. Elizabeth's Church through the funeral home.
