Albert C. Sartori, 70
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Albert C. Sartori, 70, of Milton Drive died Friday May 23, 2014 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, N.H.
Born in North Adams on May 29, 1943, son of Frank and Virginia Spada Sartori, he was a 1961 graduate of Drury High School.
An Air Force veteran, he enlisted in 1961.
Mr. Sartori worked at General Dynamics in Pittsfield until his retirement. He then worked for Elder Services delivering Meals on Wheels.
He was a member of American Legion Post 90 in Pownal, Vt., the Berkshire Museum Camera Club and the Harold Snow Golf League. He was a longtime coach for the North Adams Little League.
He leaves his childhood sweetheart and wife of 51 years, Betty Sweeney Sartori; a daughter, Jodie Botto and her husband, Scott; three sons, James Sartori and his wife, Elizabeth Pate, Jeffrey Sartori and his wife, Karena, and Joel Sartori and his wife, Rebecca; three sisters, Lorraine Gerchak, Beverly Schneider and Dorothea Markland; and six grandchildren, Brad, Nick, and Jake Botto, Jordan and Nathan Sartori, and Calder Pate Sartori, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Molly.
His brother, Francis Sartori, and twin granddaughters Brianna and Micaela Sartori predeceased him.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Sartori will be held Thursday May 29, at 4 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will be at a later date.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elder Services Meals on Wheels Program or the Humane Society of Berkshire County in care of the funeral home.
