William T. Quirk, 72

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — William Thomas Quirk, 72, of 546 Mohawk Trail, Village East Apartment 15, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, at North Adams Regional Hospital, where he was admitted on Dec. 24. Born in North Adams on Nov. 17, 1928, a son of John Francis and Edna Werner Quirk, he attended city schools. Mr. Quirk was employed for 32 years at North Adams Regional Hospital in the dietary department, until his retirement in 1990. He was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. He also was a bowler with the hospital bowlingteam at Mount Greylock Bowl. He leaves a sister, Catherine Q. Chilson of North Adams; a brother, John F. Quirk Jr. of Clarksburg, and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, including his caregiver Debra Wilk of North Adams. His sister, Eleanor M. Gigliotti, died Nov. 12,1997. FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mr. Quirk will talk place Wednesday morning at 11 from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St., North Adams, Ma. Burial will follow in the family plot in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested for the American Heart Association through the funeral home.
