Mary Louise Hanley, 90
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Mary Louise Hanley, 90, of North Adams died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in Hoosick Falls, N.Y., on Aug. 1, 1924, daughter of Tracy and Emma Harris Thomas, she attended local schools.
Mrs. Hanley was employed by Shapiro & Sons in North Adams until her retirement in 1988. She first worked for 21 years at the former Polygraphic Printing Co. in North Bennington, Vt.
She enjoyed cooking and her favorite hobby was playing bingo.
Her husband, Leon J. Hanley, whom she married on June 9, 1964, died on April 13, 2000.
She leaves her daughter, Sandra L. Mentiply of Hoosick Falls; six grandchildren, Gay Bates and Tina Mentiply, both of Bennington, Vt., and Robert Mentiply, Kim Mentiply, Christian Mentiply and George R. Mentiply Jr., all of Hoosick Falls, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother and two sisters.
FUNERAL NOTICE - The funeral for Mrs. Hanley will be Monday, Jan. 12, at 11 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
