Mary V. Fulginiti, 97

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Mary V. Fulginiti, 97, of 118 Liberty St. died Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at North Adams Commons. Born in North Adams on Aug. 10, 1917, daughter of Joseph and Marianna Jammalo Fulginiti, she attended local schools including Drury High School. Miss Fulginiti was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. for 43 years, until her retirement in 1982. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church and a member of the Sons of Italy and the Sprague Retirees. She enjoyed traveling, reading, puzzles and sewing. She was a devoted aunt and was loved by all of her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She leaves her sister, Rita Vecellio of North Adams; her brother, Anthony Fulginiti of Melrose, and cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, including Gregory Vecellio and Jeffrey Vecellio, both of North Adams, and Chelsea Vecellio of Burlington, Vt. Her siblings Angela Plati, Augustine Fulginiti, George Fulginiti and Nicholas Fulginiti predeceased her. FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Miss Fulginiti will be celebrated Monday, May 4, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. \ Calling hours will be Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in care of the funeral home.

I enjoyed working with Mary at Sprague Products during the summers of my college years from 1976-79. She always had great stories, a smile and a bit of feistiness. She will be missed.
