David D. Fay, 38

OTIS -- David D. Fay, 38, of 48 Corn Tassle Road, Naugatuck, Conn., son of David W. and Karen Lynn Sheldon Fay of Otis, died Sept. 26. Born in Milford, Conn., on Feb. 2, 1963, he attended schools in Cheshire, Conn., and was a graduate of Cheshire High School. He was an Air Force veteran. At the time of his death, Mr. Fay was employed as assistant food service manager and counselor at the Connecticut Junior Republic of Litchfield. He was a communicant of St. Vincent Ferrer Church in Naugatuck. He enjoyed playing volleyball with family and friends and was active in the soccer community in Naugatuck. Besides his parents, he leaves his wife, the former Ann Brady; a son, Michael J. Fay, at home; a daughter, Sarah Ann Fay, at home; three sisters, Kristi Kupisz of East Windsor, Conn., and Wendy Wegner and Terri Fay, both of Cheshire; and his maternal grandmother, Myra Sheldon of Milford. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Memorial donations may be sent to the Connecticut Junior Republic, P.O. Box 161, Litchfield, CT 06759. SISK BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, Hamden, Conn., was in charge of arrangements. From David Fay: "The outpouring of love from Cheshire, Hamden, Naugatuck, Otis, Lee, Becket, Milford, Newton, Junior Republic and elsewhere for our son, Dave, was very much needed and by God it was full of love for us all. Lynne and I, and David's Ann, Sarah, and Mike want to thank you for all your love and support. All my friends were there for us in our need. We are truly blessed! We just can't thank you enough."
