ADAMS, Mass. — Dino Thomas Moncecchi of Adams died Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Sweetbrook Rehab Center.

He was born in Adams, son of Francesco "Joe" and Mary (Bianchi) Moncecchi. He graduated from the Adams High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Dino was a well-known area electrician who operated his own business since 1970. Dino enjoyed yard work, walking his dog and cooking Italian food. He especially enjoyed a nice cigar.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Elizabeth (Burzimati) Moncecchi, whom he married on April 15, 1976; three daughters, Mary Lucia of Waterville, Maine, Laura Vasquez of Dublin, Va., and Jill Moncecchi of Adams; three sons, Dino T. Moncecchi Jr. of Cheyenne, Wy., Peter Moncecchi of Adams and Joseph Moncecchi of Windsor; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, William Moncecchi of Adams; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral notice: The funeral for Dino Moncecchi will be Friday, June 10, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday morning from 9-11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home.
