Theresa Mille, 67

ADAMS, Mass. — Mrs. Theresa "Terry" Mary (Kozak) Mille, 67, of Adams died on Monday, August 29, 2016.

She was born in Adams on March 8, 1949, a daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Tworig) Kozak. She attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams Memorial High School with the class of 1967. She then graduated from the McCann Technical High School nursing program.

Mrs. Mille worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years for various nursing facilities, including the former Adams Rest Home, the former Willowood of Williamstown, Sweet Brook Nursing Home and retired from Home Instead in 2014. She had also worked for a short time at Stop & Shop in North Adams and as an Avon Representative for 25 years.

She had been a communicant of the former St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Adams. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and tag sales.

She is survived by her husband, Walter A. Mille, whom she married on August 14, 1971; two sons, Brent Mille of Adams and Shawn Mille and his fiancé Travis Gawron of Pittsfield; two brothers, Walter Kozak and his wife Donna of Cheshire and John Kozak and his wife Denice of Austerlitz, N.Y.; one sister, Nancy Kozak and her fiancé Ted Stefanik of Cheshire; her beloved cat Snoop; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends and neighbors, including Ann Powers, Nancy Johnson, Bonnie Poirot, Barb Oleskiewicz and many others.

Funeral notice: The funeral will be held on Saturday, Sept. 3, at 10 a.m. in the Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor of the Parish of St. John Paul, II will officiate. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.

Calling hours are Friday, Sept. 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to United Cerebral Palsy, 535 Curran Highway, North Adams, MA 01247, BFAIR, 771 Church St., North Adams, MA 01247 or to The Friends of Renal Dialysis, 725 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
