Marion F. Higham

ADAMS -- Marion F. Higham, 93, of 50 Dean St. died Friday evening at North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in Westminster on June 2, 1908, daughter of Frank R. and Alma Johnstone Murdock, she attended schools there and graduated from Westminster High School. She also graduated from the former Fitchburg Normal School. Mrs. Higham taught school for several years in Princeton. She moved to Pittsfield in 1939 and was employed by GE until 1952, when she moved to Adams. She was a member of First Congregational Church. Her husband, F. Morton Higham, whom she married July 26, 1952, died June 7, 1994. She leaves a son, Peter Fitzgerald of Adams; a stepson, Paul Higham of Woodridge, Ill.; a sister, Louise Wilder of Pittsfield, and two grandchildren, Lee Fitzgerald and William Scott Fitzgerald, and several nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Marion F. Higham will be Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 10 a.m. from TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, Adams, with the Rev. John Carrick, pastor of First Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
