ADAMS, Mass. — Mrs. Geraldine Marie "Geri" (Girard) Luczynski Choiniere, 91, of Adams died Tuesday evening, October 11, 2016, at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, Vt. 

She was born in North Adams on January 3, 1925, a daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Leonesio) Girard, and attended North Adams schools. She had lived in Adams since 1986. 

Geri worked at several North Adams companies, including Cascade Paper Co. and the former Sprague Electric Co., until retiring. 

She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. She was a member of the Sprague Electric Quality Circle and Safety Committee, and was a member of the former Loyal Order of Moose. 

She is survived by two sons, John F. Luczynski and James M. Luczynski; a daughter, Jean-Marie Engel; a brother, George Girard; three grandchildren, Jodie Luczynski and David and Gretchen Engel; as well as several great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. 

She was predeceased by a brother, Wilfred Girard, and by two half-brothers, Francis and Victor Girard. 

Geri's family would like to thank the staff members of Kindred Rehabilitation of Great Barrington, Williamstown Commons, and Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, for the care and kindness they gave her while she was in their care. 

Funeral notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at 11 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. Rev. Steven Montesanti, Pastor, will officiate. Relatives and friends are invited. Paciorek Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Adams. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Stanislaus School Library, 108 Summer St. Adams, MA 01220.
