Gary F. ‘Pole’ Zatorski, 52

LEE, Mass. — Gary F. “Pole” Zatorski, 52, of Margerie Street in Lee, died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, November 12, 2016.
Gary was born in Pittsfield on July 9, 1964, the son of Francis and Leonora Saltarelli Zatorski. He was raised and educated in Pittsfield and was a 1982 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Gary worked as a lineman for Eversource Energy.
“Pole” was a former member of the Lee Fire Department. He enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was hunting with the boys or tending to his garden in the back yard. He also enjoyed playing pitch either at Bucky’s or the Locker Room on Thursday nights. But his true passion was enjoying time spent with the love of his life, his daughter, Katie.
Gary leaves behind his mother, Leonora Zatorski of Pittsfield; his daughter, Katherine “Katie” Zatorski of Lee; his two brothers, Craig Zatorski and his companion, Susan Kirchner of Lanesborough and Shaun Zatorski and his companion Melissa Shaudt of Pittsfield; and his two nephews, Bryan and Owen Zatorski.
Gary was predeceased by his father, Francis Zatorski, who died in 2011; his maternal grandparents, Olympio and Leah Saltarelli; and his paternal grandparents, Frank and Mildred Zatorski.
Funeral notice: Visiting hours will be Wednesday, November 16, 2016, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Kelly Funeral Home in Lee. Cremation will follow. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Pittsfield. Friends wishing may make donations in his memory to the Lee Youth Association or to a College Fund for his daughter in c/o the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main Street, Lee, MA 01238.
