Kenneth J. Rosenburg, 78

BENNINGTON, Vt. — Kenneth Joseph Rosenburg, 78, died on February 17, 2016, at the Vermont Veterans Home.

He was born in Williamstown, Mass., on June 3, 1938, the son of Henry Francis and Josephine Denno Rosenburg. He received his education at the Broad Brook School and then Williamstown High School, graduating in 1957.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1957-1963, where he was discharged at the rank of corporal. Throughout his life, Ken had worked in the construction industry as a heavy equipment operator. As a professional photographer, he was a life member of the Free Lance Photographers Association and was a charter member of Bennington Center for the Arts. He was a life member of The National Rifle Association, Marine Corps League and Williamstown American Legion.

Ken enjoyed being in the woods and in earlier years had enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman. He also liked being on the water, where he enjoyed boating and was certified in open water scuba diving.

Funeral notice: Ken will be laid to rest in the family lot in East Lawn Cemetery in Williamstown.
