Natalie Bye

Natalie Steele Bye, 74, of Greenwater Pond died Monday in Bethlehem, Pa. Born in Brockton on Nov. 7, 1926, daughter of George A. and Disa M. Lawson Steele, she attended Brockton schools. Mrs. Bye was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church in Lee and St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Trexlertown, Pa. Her husband, Norman C. Bye Jr., whom she married July 1, 1950, in Providence, R.I., died May 12, 1999. She leaves a son, Mark L. Bye of Emmaus, Pa., and two grandsons. A memorial service for the late Natalie Steele Bye will be held on Friday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m. at the North Becket Cemetery, with the Rev. Noel Bailey, pastor of St. George's Episcopal Church in Lee. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. George's Episcopal Church through the FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME, 426 Main St., Great Barrington, MA 01230.
