William P. Taylor

William Paul Taylor Sr., 51, of Newburgh, N.Y., a native of North Adams, died Monday at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh. Born in North Adams on Oct. 16, 1950, son of Antoinette Russett Taylor of Acworth, Ga., and the late William Peter Taylor, he graduated from St. Joseph's High School in North Adams and from St. Anselm's College in New Hampshire. He had resided in Newburgh for 1 1/2 years. Mr. Taylor was employed as director of operations and quality control at Alfa Wasserman Inc. He was a member of the music ministry of St. Mary's Church in Marlboro, N.Y. He leaves his wife, the former Charthea Henderson; a daughter, Michelle Carrio of Keene, N.H., and two sons, Jonathan C. Taylor of Chicago and William Paul Taylor Jr. of South Bend, Ind.; two sisters, Gloria Rowland of Acworth and Theresa Enos of North Adams; two brothers, George Taylor of North Adams and Stephen Taylor of Acworth. There will be no visitation. A memorial Mass will be celebrated with family and friends on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Marlboro, N.Y. The Rev. Edward Bader will officiate. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by ENGEL FUNERAL HOME INC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association, 419 East Main St., Middletown, NY 10940, or to St. Mary's Church, Bloom Street, Marlboro, NY 12543.
