William F. Daignault Sr., 90

ADAMS, Mass. — Mr. William F. Daignault Sr., 90, of Adams, died on Sunday, April 2, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Adams on February 13, 1927, son of the late Arthur and Mary (Parker) Daignault. He attended schools in Adams. Mr. Daignault worked as a self-employed carpenter and electrician for many years.
He was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II, Adams. He was an avid card player, enjoyed traveling the country, especially trips to Arizona and was always helping everyone.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, the former Hazel B. Rice, whom he married on February 21, 1945; one son, William F. Daignault Jr. and his wife Lillian of Windsor; one daughter, Carol Daignault of Adams; three grandchildren, William R. Daignault and his wife Tammy of Windsor, Kimberly Hogue and her husband Alfred of Adams and Paul Girard of Clarksburg; two great-grandchildren, Justin and Allison Girard; three sisters, Eva Murach of Adams, Marion Maynard of Cheshire and Annette Tatro of North Adams; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Francis Daignault; and by two sisters, Alice Thomas and Rita Lazarczyk.
Funeral notice: Funeral services and burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
