Carol A. Perras, 61

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Carol Ann Perras, 61, of 158 Prospect St., died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001, at North Adams Regional Hospital after being stricken earlier in the day.
Born in North Adams on Jan. 2, 1940, daughter of Timothy and Delse Worth Healey, she attended Drury High School.
Mrs. Perras was employed by the former X-Tyal Corp. and later by NARH for nine years, retiring in 1997.
She and her husband, Frederick H. Perras, were married April 17, 1958.
Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Nanette M. Simoneau of Newport, N.H., and Nicolette M. Bump of North Adams; a son, Matthew J. Perras of Niceville, Fla.; a sister, Marjorie Battis-Hickox of North Port, Fla.; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Another son, Mitchell J. Perras, died Dec. 9, 2000.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A private funeral will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at a later date in the family lot in Southview Cemetery in North Adams. There will be no calling hours.
