THOMAS L. KOTLESKI

Thomas L.Kotleski,77, of 52 River St. Great Barrington died January 5 at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida after a short illness while at his winter home. He was born in Great Barrington, MA, one of 13 children of Stephen and Victoria Bazonski Kotleski on September 9,1923.He was a graduate of the former Searles High School, was a WW II Veteran having served with the U.S. Navy. He was a technician for the Berkshire County Mosquito Control Program for over 40 years retiring in 1980.He was a charter member of the James A. Modolo Post #8348,a member of the Bradenton, Florida Lodge of Moose and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Betty House Kotleski whom he married September l0, 1949 in St-Peter's Church, 2 daughters, Sharon Troy of Great Barrington, Gayle Mull of Coals Center, PA, l brother, John Kotleski of Great Barrington,4 sisters Margaret Sarbieski of Nonotuck, CT, Isabel Schroeder of Morrison, NJ, Adele McReynolds of Phoenix, AZ, Kathryn Parzick of Tom's River, NJ, 5 grandchildren Matthew Mull, Kristen Mull, Alex Mull, Traci Troy, Jennifer Troy,1 great grandson Robert Ball, Jr. A Military Funeral for Thomas L. Kotleski who died January 5, 2001 will be Thursday, January 11,2001 under the direction of the James A. Modolo Post #8348 at the HICKEY-ROY FUNERAL HOME at 10 AM with Rev. William Wallis officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, January l0, 2001 from 4-7 PM at the HICKEY-ROY FUNERAL HOME 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA.
