Frances E. Circe, 93

ADAMS, Mass. — Frances Elizabeth (Slattery) Circe of Lancaster, Pa., 93, passed peacefully in her home on July 29, 2017, surrounded by her family.
She was the wife of the late William E. Circe, also of Lancaster, to whom she was married for 64 years. She was a devout Catholic and a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Lancaster.

Fran loved to sew, enjoyed swimming, yoga, and tending to her gardens, as well as working on crossword puzzles. In later years, she and her husband enjoyed several trips through Europe and the United States in their motorhome, often with their grandchildren.
Fran is survived by her six children: William Circe and his wife Pauline (New Jersey), Mary, with whom she resided, Ellen Fisher (Lancaster), Patricia Caskey and her husband Howard (Ohio), Thomas Circe and his wife Patricia (Georgia), James Circe and his wife Kim (West Chester); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Circe (Renzo), D.C.
