Harry R. Hill

Mr. Harry R. (Ralph), 84, of 1287 South Oakcrest Point Inverness FL, a former resident of Adams & North Adams, died Tuesday, Nov 7th, in Inverness, where he had resided for several years. Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 9, 1916, son of 1 Harry R. Hill, Sr. & Emma (Gilbert) Hill. he was educated in the Pittsfield Schools and a graduate of the former Pittsfield High School where he was a member of the Class 1934. The family relocated to Adams and maintained a residence on Albert St. in the Mother Town for many years. An employee of various woolen mills in the Northtern Berkshire area, he retired in 1973 from the General Electric Ordinance Division in Pittsfield where he had labored for 17 vears. While in Adams he was a member of Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Parish. Mr. Hill retired to Florida in the 80’s. A widower, he was the former husband of Rita A. Migneault who died in 1968. He is survived by a son, Richard W. Hill of Adams. A daughter Marilyn Viner of Ashfield and a sister Mrs. Mary Zucarro of Pittsfield. He also leaves 5 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren. A grave side service is planned for Wednesday in the family lot in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams, at a time to he announced. There will be a funeral service and visitation period in Inverness, FL Saturday. The family suggests donations in his memory to the charitv of choice. The McBride Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. 30
