Donald Williams

Donald P. Williams, 42, of Fountain, Colo., a native of Pittsfield, died Oct. 31 as a result of an automobile accident in Colorado Springs. He had lived in Colorado for the past two years. Born in Pittsfield on Feb. 11, 1959, son of Edwin F. and Polly A. Potter Williams, he attended local schools. He was employed as a field technician with MCI Communications at the time of his death. Besides his parents of Lanesboro, he leaves his wife, the former Nanci Kennedy of Springfield, whom he married Aug. 1, 1986; three daughters, Colleen Kennedy and Ericka Williams, both of Springfield, and Heidi Jefferson of Lee; a son, William Jefferson of Lee; three brothers, Edwin F. Williams of Fremont, N.H., John F. Williams of Pittsfield and his twin, Ronald Williams of Lanesboro; two sisters, Bonnie Hall of Crestview, Fla., and Deborah Miller of Hurst, Texas, and two grandchildren. He also leaves his companion, Patricia Jefferson of Lee. He was predeceased by a brother, Mark Williams, in 1982. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield with the Rev. Peter Boehringer, pastor of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 4 to 7. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Donald P.
