PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Barbara A. Kemp, 79, of Pittsfield, Mass., passed away January 28, 2018, peacefully at home.

Born August 24, 1938, to the late Lina E. Nason Drake. Barbara was married to the late James Kemp, who predeceased her on May 16, 1995.

Barbara was a cafeteria worker for many years at Wahconah Regional High School. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing cards, the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. She loved attending her grandchildren's baseball and basketball games.

Barbara leaves behind three daughters, Lorie Bossone and her husband Tom, of Danielson, Conn., Lisa Kemp of Pittsfield, Mass., and Karen Claramunt and her husband Joseph of Adams, Mass.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her brothers, Woodrow Nason and Robert Nason, both of Pittsfield, and Raymond Drake of Scarborough, Maine; and a sister, Marilyn Boyle and her husband John of Orange, Fla.

Funeral notice: Calling hours for Barbara Kemp will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Dery Funeral Home in Pittsfield.
