PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Rachel Alexandria Weider Mullaney, 17, of Pittsfield, Mass., passed away April 27, 2018. 

She was born August 19, 2000 the daughter of Thomas M. Mullaney and Kelley Ann Rosier Weider. 

She was a student, currently attending Taconic High School. She enjoyed chemistry and science, and also learning Italian. 

She leaves behind her mother and stepfather, Kelley and Ernie Weider of Pittsfield; her father, Thomas Mullaney of Pittsfield; her maternal grandparents, Maryann and Kevin McCormick of Pittsfield; a brother Timothy Weider of Pittsfield; a sister, Katrina Weider of Lanesborough; her uncle, Bill Mullaney of Pittsfield; and many cousins and extended family.

Funeral notice: Calling hours for Rachel will be Wednesday, May 2, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to support the transgender community at Berkshire Stonewall Community Coalition, in care of the funeral home.
