Inez E. Mara

Inez E. Mara, 98, formerly of 201 Onota St., died Thursday at Hillcrest Commons, where she had resided for 10 years. Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 4, 1903, daughter of John B. and Electa LaPointe Mara, she was a 1921 graduate of St. Joseph's High School. Miss Mara was employed by the former W.T. Grant Co. as a clerk. She retired in 1968 with 47 years of service. She was a communicant of Notre Dame Church. She leaves many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be tomorrow, Nov. 27, at 9:15 from DWYER FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 in Notre Dame Church celebrated by the Rev. Earl Hebert, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
