Jack E. Kissinger

Jack E. Kissinger, 67, of RR5, Wellsboro, Pa., formerly of Lee, died Sunday at home. Born in Carlisle, Pa., on Oct. 25, 1934, he was the son of the late Ralph K. and Lorraine Smith Kissinger. He had resided in Lee for 15 years until 1995. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Kissinger was employed as an instrumentation engineer for Kimberly-Clark Corp. in Lee for 35 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Wellsboro and the American Radio Relay League. He also was an Eagle Scout and a life member of the National Rifle Association and the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society. He enjoyed scuba diving. He leaves his wife, the former Heather A. Bates, whom he married Aug. 16, 1980, in London, Ontario; a daughter, Joy Elaine Walters of Newville, Pa., and two grandsons. Friends may call at TUSSEY-MOSHER FUNERAL HOME, a "Life Celebration Home," 139 Main St., Wellsboro, Pa., on Wednesday, Nov. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. and at First Presbyterian Church, 130 Main St., Wellsboro, Pa., on Thursday, Nov. 29, from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral service will follow Thursday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Dr. Robert K. Greer officiating. Burial will be in West Branch Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Wellsboro, 130 Main St., Wellsboro, PA 16901, or to the ALS Society, Greater Philadelphia Chapter, 500 Office Center Drive, Suite 340, Fort Washington, PA 19034.
