PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Edward Peter Leigh Griffith, 89, died October 11, 2018.  

Peter was born January 15, 1929, in Farnborough, England, and emigrated to the United States in the late 1950s. He spent his professional life as an advertising copywriter.  

Peter loved the Berkshires, retiring here in 2000.  

He is survived by his wife, Marlene Chautin; and step-daughter Nicole Trevino.
