Josephine J. Sadzinski

ADAMS -- Josephine J. Sadzinski, 86, formerly of The Mill Houses, died yesterday at Willowood of Williamstown Care Center, where she had resided since 1997. Born in Adams on April 26, 1914, daughter of Nimmer and Sadie Banna Joseph, she was attended Renfrew Grammar School and was a 1932 graduate of the former Adams High School. She was employed as cook/manager at Chick's Lunch. She was formerly employed by the former Waverly Fabrics Products of Adams, where she was a supervisor of the drapery department, from 1969 until her retirement in 1979. She was an active member of the Elder Center in Adams and enjoyed needlework. Her husband, Sigmund Sadzinski Sr., whom she married Sept. 26, 1938, died in 1975. She leaves a son, Sigmund Sadzinski Jr. of Adams; a brother, Joseph J. Joseph of North Bennington, Vt., retired superintendent of the North Berkshire School Union; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be Saturday, Jan. 13, at 11 from the MCBRIDE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Liberty St., Adams. The service will be offered by the Rev. Charles P. Konieczny. Burial will follow in the family lot in Bellevue Cemetery. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in care of The William T. Graham Association, P.O. Box 779, Minneapolis, MN 55440-0779, or the funeral home.
