Colleen 'Midge' Fogarty, 64

FLORIDA, Mass. — Colleen "Midge" Crosier Fogarty, 64, of the town of Florida, died on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
She was born in North Adams on Feb. 20, 1954, a daughter of the late Marshall "Bud" Crosier and Joan (Kelly) Crosier. She attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1973. She was a loyal employee at North Adams Regional Hospital as a dietary supervisor until it closed.
Midge was a member of the Greylock Community Club in North Adams and also a member of the Readsboro American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 29.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Nagle Fogarty, whom she married on December 20, 2008, in the St. Francis of Assisi Church in North Adams. She is also survived by her daughter, Jami Pytko, and her husband, Ryan, of North Adams and the "apple of her eye," her grandson, Liam Pytko. She also leaves a brother, Michael Crosier and his wife, Debbie of Newberry, S.C.; a nephew, Shaun Crosier; and a niece, Brandi Lee Crosier.
She was predeceased by her sister, Kelly Crosier, who died in March 2006.
Funeral notice: A funeral service to celebrate the life of Colleen "Midge" Fogarty will take place on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the Flynn and Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapel, 521 West Main Street, North Adams, Mass. A calling hour will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Burial will take place in the spring. Memorial donations are suggested for the St. Vincent de Paul Conference at St. Elizabeth Church through the funeral home.
