Elizabeth J. Crosier, 82

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Elizabeth Jane "Betty" (Racine) Crosier, 82, died on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at Berkshire Medical Center.

She was born in Adams, Mass., on March 7, 1936 a daughter of Arthur and Regina (Charbonneau) Racine. She attended schools in Adams, including Adams Memorial High School. For many years, Betty was the owner and operator of Betty’s Hillside Beauty Salon located on West Main Street in North Adams.

She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church.

Survivors include her husband, Neal Howard Crosier, whom she married on December 31, 1991; daughters Karen LaBomard and her husband, Raymond, of North Adams and Anne Reynolds and her husband, Glenn, of Adams; sons Michael Casuscelli and his wife, Janet, of Indiana and Steven Casuscelli of North Adams; sister Virginia Kruszyna and her husband, Ronald, of Cheshire; brother Richard Racine and his wife, Barbara, of Adams; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

She was predeceased by her son, John Casuscelli; and her sister, Florence Swistak.

Funeral notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Elizabeth Crosier will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday morning from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapel, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247. Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Conference in care of the funeral home.
