EGREMONT, Mass. — Lucy M. Eichstedt, 77, of Egremont died Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at Fairview Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Lucy was born in Canaan, Conn., on January 25, 1941, daughter of Donald and Olive (Curtis) Green. She was a graduate of Mount Everett High School class of 1958. Lucy worked as a school bus driver for Massini Bus Company from 1970 to 1991 then as an aide for Massini Bus Company from 1991 till her retirement in 2004.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Great Barrington and she loved Elvis Presley.

Lucy is survived by one son, Michael Bachetti of Ashley Falls; three daughters, Gail Soules and Scott Delmolino of Egremont, Carol Shaw and husband Frederick of Sheffield, and Susanne LaGrant of Great Barrington; one brother, Donald Green of Canaan, Conn.; 11 grandchildren, Thomas Soules, Heather Ball, Jonathan Delmolino, Delmar LaGrant, Chelsie, Tia and Emily Shaw, Jackie Dewkett, Brittany Henry, Anthony Bachetti and Michael and Michelle Bachetti; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Lucy was predeceased by one sister, Barbara Wilkinson; and her son, Dale Bachetti.

Funeral notice: Calling hours for Lucy will be held on December 29, 2018, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Birches-Roy Funeral Home, 33 South Street, Great Barrington MA 01230. A celebration of life will be in the spring when the lilacs bloom.
