FLORIDA, Mass. — Carl Ronald Tovani, 77, of Florida, Mass., died Thursday, December 27, 2018, at his home.

He was born in North Adams, Mass., on July 15, 1941, son of Walter and Loretta (Dupre) Tovani. He attended local schools and graduated from Adams High School.

Carl was last employed by Catamount Pellet Co. Before that, he operated Carl's Garage on Florida Mountain for about 20 years.

Survivors include his wife, Marcia Jean (Pekosz) Tovani, whom he married on December 19, 1981; three sons, including Jeffrey Tovani of Cheshire, Scott Tovani of Savoy and Wayne Tovani of North Adams; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; one sister, Beverly Alcombright of North Adams; one brother, James Tovani of Hoosick Falls, N.Y.; and nieces and nephews.  

He was predeceased by two brothers, Walter Tovani and Richard Tovani.
