BENNINGTON, Vt. — Barbara E. Beagle, 80 passed away peacefully at The Centers For Living and Rehabilitation on Monday, January 21, 2019, following a lengthy illness.

The daughter of Charles and Alma (Wood) Arnold, she was born in Hoosick Falls, N.Y., on April 12, 1938. She grew up in Hoosick Falls, where she graduated from Hoosick Falls High School. Mrs. Beagle had previously worked at the Bennington Convalescent Center. 

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and loved attending church and activities at Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church.

She leaves her son Charles "Chuck" Beagle and his wife Jeanna of Salem, N.Y.; daughter Marie Lane of Port Charlotte, Fla.; brother John Arnold of Salem, N.Y.; sister Charlene Hughes; grandchildren Aerial Barney, Sage Beagle and Kortney Karp; many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

She was predeceased by her siblings, Leeward, Charles and Jay Arnold, Gail Morsfield, Mary Carey, Linda Hall, Sherry Colgrove and Mildred Buck. 

Funeral notice: A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at 2 p.m. at the Hanson Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home, 213 West Main Street, Bennington, Vt.
