We don't know anyone who battled breast cancer as valiantly as she did. She faced cancer head on. Hopefully, Kathleen will have played a role in finding the cure.
May she rest in peace and may God always hold her in the palm of his hand.

Sad day. My thoughts are with you.

My Dearest “K”,
It is so surreal seeing your beautiful face here. Words don’t seem appropriate to express how very much you mean to me. It wasn’t long after we met, that we could communicate with “that look”, “that smile”, and my favorite, a long comforting hug. You were the best hugger! One thing I know is that you know how much I love you and how grateful I am for your presence in my life. We’ve shared so many heartfelt moments, but I know I’ll forever crave more. We’ve laughed together, cried (for happy and sad occasions), “solved” the problems of the world together. You have always been the positive sound of reason, the keeper of my secrets, and my optimistic gal. I’ll forever cherish our years as friends. You shine so brightly, both your smile and, your eyes that I’m pretty sure could see straight to my soul. Thank you for being my friend, for loving me unconditionally, and for sparkling your light on my life. I’ve always known that you were an earth angel. I’ll now point my eyes to the sky and know that you’ll be the brightest star in the Heavens.
Until we meet again, Kathleen, I’ll be recalling our special bond and speaking your name. And, because you gave me permission, I will still have more tears to cry, but ultimately smile because you gave me that! Godspeed, beautiful soul!
