Mildred M. Bresett, 77
ADAMS, Mass. — Mildred M (Petronick) Bresett, 77, passed away April 8, 2019 at JFK Medical Center in Florida with family at her side.
Born in Adams, Mass., on April 15, 1941, she was the oldest of five sisters born to the late Walter and Genevive Petronick of Adams, Mass. She was a graduate of Adams High School.
She spent her career working for General Electric, where she also retired.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandsons. She was active in her community, where she loved to play mah-jongg and bingo, and she was also quite the yoga enthusiast.
She was a life long member of St Mary's of Cheshire, Mass., and attended Christ Fellowship while in Florida.
She leaves behind her husband of 60 years, John L. Bresett Jr.; three sisters, Delores LeFave and husband George of North Adams, Mass., Patricia Garrison and her companion John of Hillsdale, N.Y., and Stella Trudeau and her companion Dennis of Adams, Mass.; three children, Denise Maselli and husband Michael of Stamford, Vt., John D, Bresett of Cheshire, Mass., and Robert Bresett and wife Betty of Boyton Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren; five great-grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister Helen S. Reeves.
