Harry Beverly Sr, 82

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Harry Louis Beverly Sr., formerly of Williamstown, died peacefully after a long illness on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at the home of his son Joseph in Williamstown surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in North Adams on June 27, 1937, a son of the late George and Florence (Ankers) Beverly. Harry attended schools in Williamstown and was a licensed electrician, first employed at Greylock Electric and later at Williams College, retiring in 1998. He and his wife moved to Barefoot Bay, Florida, in 2000.
Harry enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, bowling and camping.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Mary A. (Bettis) Beverly, whom he married April 14, 1961; three daughters, Anne Beverly, Angela Phienboupha (Souphaphonh) and Danielle Knight (her companion Scott Orr), all of North Adams; two sons, Harry Beverly Jr. (Joan), of the town of Florida and Joseph Beverly (Kim) of Williamstown; 13 grandchildren, Stacie Aniceto, Jennifer Beverly, Samantha Beverly, Tiana Phienboupha, Tara Daley, Shaun Beverly, Brittany Pilling, Joseph Beverly Jr., Amanda Rickert, Bobbie Beverly, Megan Knight, Gabrielle Knight and Rose Knight; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, George Beverly Jr.; and two sisters, Susan Raimer of North Adams and Bonnie Cahoon of Clarksburg.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Virginia Schwarzer and Linda Raimer.
Funeral notice: Funeral services to celebrate the life of Harry L. Beverly Sr. will take place Saturday, January 4, 2020, at 3 p.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA. Burial will take place in the spring.
