Martha Dupee

Martha Dupee, 57, of New York City died Monday at home. She was the sister of Mary McGurn of North Egremont. Born in Pensacola, Fla., on Nov. 12, 1944, daughter of James and Clarice Lawrence Perrone, she graduated from St. Mary's of Notre Dame University in 1966 and later received a master's degree in international affairs from New York University. A resident of New York since 1966, she was co-founder of the Madison Avenue Children's Christmas Fund and was a former board member of Partnership with Children and the Millay Colony for the Arts. She leaves her sister, Mary McGurn and her husband, George, of North Egremont. The family will receive friends today, Dec. 28, at FRANK E. CAMPBELL FUNERAL HOME, 1076 Madison Ave., New York, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 tomorrow, Dec. 29, at Blessed Sacrament Church, West 71st Street, New York. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, North Egremont, on Monday, Dec. 31, at noon. Donations may be made to the MS Society, the Partnership for Children or the Millay Colony for the Arts in care of FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME, 426 Main St., Great Barrington, MA 01230.
