Pasquale Lucchese

Pasquale L. "Pat" Lucchese, 69, of 245 Theresa Terrace died yesterday morning at Albany (N.Y.) Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Born in White Plains, N.Y., on April 29, 1932, son of Yolanda Cioce Lucchese of Tuckahoe, N.Y., and the late Nicholas A. Lucchese, he attended schools in East Chester, N.Y., and graduated from East Chester High School. He served in the Navy from 1949 to 1953, during the Korean War. After his military service, Mr. Lucchese joined his father in the operation of the family firm, Lucchese Marble Co. in Tuckahoe. In 1969, he moved to Lee, where he worked for the Lee White Marble Co. as a foreman. In 1978, he opened Lucchese Marble and Tile Co. and, in 1980, was joined by his son, Nicholas L. Lucchese. He retired in 1996. He was a former member of the Greenock Country Club. Besides his mother and his son, of Lee, he leaves his wife, the former Betty Lou Franklin, whom he married April 18, 1953; two daughters, Elizabeth M. Tierney of Lee and Linda Kuepper of Richboro, Pa.; two brothers, Lawrence Lucchese of Yonkers, N.Y., and Robert Lucchese of Tuckahoe; a sister, Grace Mazzuchelli of Yonkers, and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard, who died in 1992. The funeral will be Monday morning at 9:15 from KELLY FUNERAL HOME in Lee, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Mary's Church. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 2 to 5. Friends wishing may make donations to the Albany VA Medical Center in care of the funeral home.
