Jennie T. Dus, 67, of 5 Washington Square died Sunday at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in Great Barrington on March 9, 1934, daughter of William and Anna Szwyd McGuire, she graduated from the former Searles High School in 1952. She was employed by Rising Paper Co. as a lab technician and paper sorter in the finishing room for 33 years, retiring in 1998. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Her husband, Angelo J. Dus, whom she married Aug. 31, 1974, in Richmond, died Jan. 20, 1992. She leaves a stepson, Peter J. Dus Sr. of Richmond; a stepdaughter, Lois Cunningham of Connecticut; a brother, Michael McGuire, with whom she lived; a sister, Patricia Koldys of Housatonic; seven step-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Wednesday, Jan. 2, at HICKEY-ROY FUNERAL HOME at 9, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Patrick's Church celebrated by the Rev. Steven P. McGuigan. Burial will follow in St. Bridget's Cemetery. The family will receive friends today, Jan. 1, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home.
