George Reinhold

George Arthur Reinhold Sr., 73, of 80 South St. died Wednesday morning at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Pittsfield in September 1928, son of C. Arthur and Lolita Bassett Reinhold, he attended Pittsfield High School. He served in the Navy from September 1945 to July 1949. Mr. Reinhold was employed with GE as a crane operator at the Naval Ordnance Systems MGO plant in Pittsfield. He retired in 1988 with 38 years of service. He was a member of First Congregational Church and Berkshire Lodge AF&AM, both in Adams. He leaves his wife, the former Mary Eastman, whom he married Sept. 5, 1951; three sons, George A. Reinhold Jr. of Tafton, Pa., Kurt H. Reinhold of Amherst and Eric B. Reinhold of Adams; a daughter, Mary Ellen Skrocki of Adams, and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers Robert Reinhold and Victor Reinhold. A private graveside service for Mr. Reinhold will be held in the spring. There will be no calling hours.
