NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Phyllis Valida Carsno Lapine, 91 of Bristol, CT died Wednesday December 16, 2020 at her home.

She was born in North Adams, MA on May 22, 1929, a daughter of Harold L. Carsno Sr. and Florence M. (Duverney) Carsno. She attended local schools.

Phyllis worked at Wall-Streeter Shoe Co and Sprague Electric Co. She was last employed at Mary Fletcher Hospital in Burlington, VT where she lived for several years until returning to North Adams. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Phyllis enjoyed playing Bingo and Pokeno.

Survivors include her daughter, Debra Ann Skrok and her husband, Jeffrey of Bristol, CT with whom she lived and two sisters- Margaret MacDonald of Pompano Beach, FL and Elizabeth Jordan of Albany, NY and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers and one sister including Catherine Beliveau, Ralph, Edward and Harold "Babe" Carsno Jr.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Phyllis Carsno Lapine will be Monday December 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA.
